Varun Biju
Head of Delivery
I run delivery at Zethic Technologies. The numbers below are the day job; a handful of outside engagements each year fill the rest of the time.
Years in Delivery
Projects Shipped
On-Time Delivery
PM Team Scaled
I started in Deloitte's PMO, working a $25M change pipeline. It was the kind of environment where missed process steps had real downstream consequences, and most of what I know about running a delivery org I picked up there.
Then I joined Zethic Technologies as their first PM hire and built the delivery operation from scratch. I wrote the playbooks the team now runs on, owned PM hiring and onboarding, and migrated the org off paid SaaS onto self-hosted FOSS where the math worked out.
Where I think the PM role is going: a 1-PM, 5-engineer setup running AI in the loop will out-ship a 3-PM, 10-engineer one. The PMs who keep their jobs will be the ones who learn to drive the model rather than the ones who review its output. Half of my consulting work is preparing teams for that shift.
When teams call me in
- Your team ships late and no one can explain why
- Headcount went up; but delivery is getting worse, not better
- AI is on every roadmap but your PMs still write specs and run standups the same way they did three years ago
- You need the PM function set up, not another full-time seat
